Negreanu Folds River

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Big O

From under the gun, Daniel Negreanu limped in, and an opponent on his direct left raised to 4,000. The blinds folded, and Negreanu called as the flop landed {4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

Negreanu checked, his opponent bet 9,500 and Negreanu called. The turn of the {7-Hearts} went check-check, and the river landed the {2-Diamonds}. Negreanu checked, his opponent bet 20,000, and Negreanu began some friendly banter.

"I had you until that card. I thought you might have ace-deuce and the nut flush. So your flush is better then my flush," stated Negreanu before eventually folding.

"I had everything!" Negreanu's opponent said as he tabled his {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

"I had a queen-high flush and a pair of tens." added Negreanu.
