Kornuth Looks to Turned Boat

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

After an open-raise to 1,800 and a call from Bertrand Grospellier in the cutoff, Chance Kornuth squeezed to 6,500 from the small blind. The initial raiser called, and Grospellier folded.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{3-Hearts}, and both players checked to see the {6-Hearts} land on the turn. Kornuth was first to act, and he took his time. Meanwhile, his order arrived, as a waiter brought him red wine. Kornuth took a sip, then bet out 4,500 His opponent called.

The river {Q-Spades} saw Kornuth check, and his opponent slid forward a bet of 11,800. Kornuth cut out the chips required for call and started shuffling them. He eventually paid the price, only to be shown {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}. The turned full house diminished Kornuth's stack to 15,200.
