Erik Seidel Defeats Carl Leckner to Advance

Level 6 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

With the board reading {K-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, Carl Leckner checked in the big blind, and Erik Seidel bet 1,500 on the button. Leckner called, and the turn was the {6-Spades}. Leckner checked again, Seidel bet 3,000, and Leckner check-raised to 6,000. Seidel called.

On the {10-Spades} river, Leckner bet out 11,000, about half his remaining stack. Seidel looked at Leckner's stack to see what he had left, then put in 22,000. Leckner called for his remaining 10,900, and they showed down.

Leckner had {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} for a set, but it was no good against Seidel's {5-Spades}{3-Clubs} — the nut straight on the turn. Leckner was eliminated, and Seidel advanced to the next round.
