Good Start for 2015 Final Tablist Adam Owen

Level 1 : 25/50, 75 ante

Two years ago, British player Adam Owen final tabled this event, finishing in seventh for just under $25,000. He is one of the 95 players seated at the start of the day in this event.

It folded around to Owen in the cutoff who raised to 150 with the blinds 25/50 with a button ante of 75. The player on the button three-bet to 300 and Owen called.

Owen drew two and his opponent stood pat. Owen checked and his opponent bet 600. Owen check-raised to 2,900 and his opponent called.

The Brit turned over and spread a number one {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} across the table.

"Damn," said his opponent, "I get dealt a pat eight and now this!" He showed {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for an eight-perfect.
