Gerhart Left Short

Level 16

Badacey

The action folded around to Kevin Gerhart in the small blind, and he raised to 8,000. Justin Bonomo defended his big blind and drew three once Gerhart drew two.

Gerhart bet 4,000, and Bonomo called. Both players drew two.

Gerhart checked, and Bonomo bet 8,000. Gerhart called and drew two again, while Bonomo stood pat.

Gerhart checked, Bonomo bet 8,000, and Gerhart folded, leaving himself just over two big bets.

Chait Needs a Speeding Ticket

Level 16

2-7 Single Draw

We didn't see the exact action on the draw, but it sounded like the dealer said, "One, pat, one," at Table 637. Kevin Iacofano checked in the blinds, Craig Chait did the same after presumably patting, and Chip Jett bet 25,000, roughly the size of the pot. Iacofano quickly mucked, but Chait thought for about a minute and slid in a call.

"Good call," Jett said.

Chait rolled over {10-}{8-}{7-}{5-}{3-} and took the pot.

"Speeding ticket," Jon Turner said. "Four-k to 100 in 10 minutes."

Omaha Hi-Lo

From under the gun, Justin Bonomo raised to 8,000, and Daniel Hirleman called in the cutoff, as did both Wes Self in the small blind and Kevin Gerhart in the big blind.

The flop fell {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, and the action was checked through to reveal the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. Self bet 8,000, and Gerhart raised all in for his last 10,800. Bonomo folded, and Hirleman called, as did Self.

The river landed the {Q-Hearts}, and Self led out for 8,000. Hirleman folded.

Self tabled his {K-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a turned full house, and Gerhart opened his {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} for two pair and a missed low before exiting the tournament area in 26th place.

Kelsall Doubles Through Sensoli

Level 16

2-7 Triple Draw

Christopher Sensoli checked from the small blind after drawing two on the second draw, and Andrew Kelsall checked back after drawing one on the button. Draws went the same on the last pull, and Sensoli came out betting. Kelsall raised his last 5,700, and Sensoli called. Kelsall, however, had made a wheel and took it down.

Bonomo Over Self in Biggest Pot Yet

Level 16
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

No-Limit Hold'em

"Big pot over here," Todd Bui said just as we walked over to Table 628.

Indeed, Justin Bonomo's stack was in the middle preflop from under the gun with {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}, having come out on the good end of a cooler against the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} held by Wes Self in the small blind. The board ran out {6-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, devoid of the queen Self needed. He sent Bonomo 141,500 — nearly all of his own stack.

Newman Doubles

Level 16

Razz

Clayton Newman completed to 4,000, and Craig Chait raised. Newman called, then raised all in for his last 4,300 on fourth street. Chait called, and each player's board ran out as follows:

Newman: {3-}{7-} / {9-}{Q-}{A-}{2-} / {10-}
Chait: {9-}{4-} / {A-}{10-}{5-}{8-} / {8-}

Although Chait made a nine-eight low, Newman's nine-seven low secured him the double-up.

Self Doubles

Level 16

No-Limit Hold'em

The action folded to Wes Self on the button, and he moved all in for 27,200. Alex Luneau called in the small blind, and the cards were placed on their backs.

Self: {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Luneau: {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, and Self doubled up to roughly 55,000 chips.

Luneau Wins Multiway Pot

Level 16

Big O

Wes Self opened to 4,000 from under the gun, and the entire table called to see a {3-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop. All five players checked, and the {J-Hearts} on the turn was also checked through.

The river landed the {Q-Spades}, and after the blinds and Self checked, Alex Luneau bet out 10,000. Justin Bonomo folded on the button, as did Daniel Hirleman and Todd Bui in the blinds before Self also mucked.
