Hand #29 - Antoine Saout

James Akenhead has the button. It is at this moment this his stage supporters (including Neil Channing) decide to stand up and chant "Oh, Jamie, Jamie, Jamie! Jamie, Jamie, Jamie, Jamie Akenhead!" Eric Buchman is our first mover this hand, making it 800,000 to go. Action passes to the lone Frenchman, Antoine Saout, who re-raises to 3.15 million. That re-raise quickly moved the action back to Buchman. He folds.

Hand #28 - The First Turn Card Today... and a River, Too!

Darvin Moon has the button. Not surprisingly, it's Buchman opening the pot again. And again, it's 800,000 to play. Jeff Shulman makes the call while the rest of the table gets out of their way.

Heads up, the flop comes {K-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {7-Spades}, and Buchman checks. Shulman isn't checking; he fires 1,750,000 at the pot. Buchman cuts the calling chips out of his stack and shuffles them for a minute or two before sliding them into the pot.

With that, we have our first turn card of the day, the {10-Hearts}. Both men check. The river comes the {3-Clubs}, and the action check-checks once more.

Buchman is first to show, and he tables {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} for queens up. Unable to beat that, Shulman releases his cards into the muck.

Buchman - 40,660,000
Shulman - 15,550,000

Hand #26 - Eric Buchman

Antoine Saout has the button. With the betting folded around to late position, Eric Buchman caps his cards and sticks in a the new standard raise to 800,000. In the big blind, Darvin Moon scratches his beard and makes a move for chips. It was a semi-bluff; he opts to fold after a minute or so. The pot goes to Buchman.

Barry Greenstein Tweets

A lot of pros are tweeting the action as it happens. Barry Greenstein for instance made an interesting observation stating "Joe Cada has opened the most hands and has been reraised three or four times, and has folded every time."

There's plenty of known faces in the stands catching the action. As expected, the bigger names were able to secure themselves front row seats to the greatest poker tournament in the world.

Phil Hellmuth is keeping a close eye on the player he coached, Jeff Shulman, while Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, and Doyle Brunson are also close by. TJ Cloutier, Phil Gordon, Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy, and Chris "Jesus" Ferguson are also seated up on the stage.
