Nguyen Chips Up, Knocks Out Kim

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Action started with a raise from the player in late position, which Tommy Nguyen three-bet from the hijack. Yoon Kim was in the cutoff and went all in. Late position folded and Nguyen called.

Yoon Kim: AQAll in
Tommy Nguyen: QQ

Kim commented he needed to get lucky and got some options on the J109 board. Both players flopped an open-ender and Kim said he will happily take a chop.

The turn 2 and river 9 did not bring the desired straight for Kim, however, and he was eliminated.
