Toshikazu Ishii Eliminated in 18th Place ($38,326)

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Fahredin Mustafov opened 60,000 under the gun and Pierre Calamusa called in the cutoff before Toshikazu Ishii jammed for 1,240,000 in the big blind. Mustafov called and Calamusa snap-mucked.

Toshikazu Ishii: JJ All in
Fahredin Mustafov: AQ

It was a flip and the 752 flop missed both players. The A fell on the turn though, giving Mustafov a pair of aces to take the lead and the Q river improved him to two pair to send Ishii to the payout desk.

Manuel Fritz got his remaining chips in the middle from the small blind and was called by Connor Rash in the big blind.

Manuel Fritz: K9 All in
Connor Rash: K10

Fritz was once again dominated but, as before, vaulted into the lead on the 89K flop. The 5 turn was a blank but the 10 river was just what the doctor ordered for Rash to send Fritz to the payout desk.

Calamusa Doubles Back

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Right after losing a chunk of his stack to Manuel Fritz, Pierre Calamusa doubled back to move over the one million mark.

Picking up the action on the flop with the board reading 849 Felipe Boianovsky in the small blind check-called a hefty bet from Calamusa in the big blind.

Boianovsky checked again following the 10 turn before calling a shove for 420,000 from Calamusa.

Pierre Calamusa: QQ All in
Felipe Boianovsky: J10

Calamusa was ahead with his overpair but would need to fade a number of outs heading to the river. The 4 completed the board to keep the queens best, shipping the pot to the team Winamax pro.

Lynn Phan was eliminated at another table.
