Zlotnikov Scoops with Flush

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

On a three-way flop of 36J, Joseph Sanders and Anatoliy Zlotnikov both checked to Alfred Karlsson on the button, who bet 375,000 and was called by both opponents.

The turn was the Q and this time Sanders checked, Zlotnikov bet 300,000, and Karlsson and Sanders both called.

On the river 7, all three players checked.

"Two pair," announced Sanders.

"Flush," Zlotnikov proclaimed and showed K865 for an eight-high flush, which prompted the quick folds from the other two.

"Ahh, you had the ace of clubs, didn't you?" Zlotnikov said to Karlssen, who just smiled. "Aha, I knew it!"

Sanders was well ahead with his set of nines, but Tran still had outs with his overpair and flush draw. Fortunately for Sanders, the runout of 4A secured him the win and he was awarded the pot for the double.

Joseph Sanders
Joseph Sanders

On a three-way pot of 2A5, Alfred Karlsson led for 325,000 and was called by Joseph Sanders while Long Tran got out of the way.

The action then checked through the 8 turn and the players went straight to the river Q.

Karlsson bet 320,000 but then Sanders moved all in for just around 2,000,000, which sent Karlsson into the tank.

After staring Sanders down for close to a minute, he decided to let it go and tossed in his cards.

"Show the bluff!" Anatoliy Zlotnikov said to Sanders, who obliged by tabling AJ92 for the dry ace of spades, but his two pair may have still been good.

Anatoly Zlotnikov

Alfred Karlsson opened to 560,000 preflop and was called only by Anatoly Zlotnikov.

On the flop 4J3, Zlotnikov moved all in and was quickly called by Karlsson to put him at risk.

Alfred Karlsson: AQ55

Karlsson was currently in the lead with his pair of fives, but the turn A left him drawing dead as Zlotnikov hit the nut flush. The A river changes nothing and Zlotnikov was pushed the pot for the double.

"Wow, trip aces and second-nut flush, brutal," Mike Leah said to Karlsson as he assessed the damage to his stack
