Ingoglia Triples Up After Losing to a Runner Runner, Gregorich Eliminated

Level 17 : Limits 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Blaise Ingoglia was visibly concerned to see a river bet from Teresa Chang on the board of K8KQK. The pot between the two had ballooned to over 75,000 on the river, with Ingoglia having only 32,000 left behind. He checked the river on the small blind, and Change bet in middle position. Ingoglia muttered to himself, but still quickly called.

He showed 88 for a flopped full house, while Chang flipped over AQ for the runner-runner better full house.

Ingoglia was unhappy, but was luckier on the next hand he played, which started with a raise from JJ Liu and a call by himself. Next to act was Mark Gregorich, who was on the short stack and went all in for 13,500. Liu called and Ingoglia called.

The flop was 864, Liu checked and Ingoglia put in his last 500 chip. Liu called and the three players flipped over their cards.

Blaise Ingoglia: A4All in
JJ Liu: J10
Mark Gregorich: A10All in

Ingoglia was ahead with his pair of fours and the 2 and the 7, which came on the turn and river respectively, changed nothing, sending around 60,000 chips Ingoglia’s way and ending Gregorich’s tournament.
