Niste Pulls out the Sneaky Straight

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Alec Torelli raised in the cutoff to 10,000 and Mihai Niste made the call from the big blind. The flop came out with 6104 and both players checked.

The turn K was also checked through.

On the river 8 Niste bet out for 12,000 and Torelli contemplated, made the call and mucked when Niste turned over 97 for the straight and was so confident he was the winner he pulled back his bet before Torelli mucked.
