Smith Shorts Naim
Action was caught from the river with the 9♠10♥2♦6♦10♦ board already dealt. The pot stood at around 125,000 and Elliot Smith was all in for around 180,000 from the button. Action was then on Gal Naim to make the call from an early position for pretty much his entire stack.
Naim took some time before making the call and the players flipped their hands.
Elliot Smith: 2♠2♣
Gal Naim: A♣10♣
Smith showed pocked deuces for the boat whilst Naim had a set of tens.
Naim was left with four chips worth 4,000 after the hand and moved all in blind from under the gun. There were two callers before the small blind raised, and left the players to go heads up, giving Naim a chance to multiply his stack.
Gal Naim: J♠5♣
Small blind: K♦Q♥
Naim saw his hand at the same time as the other players on the table but wasn't looking strong after seeing the small blind's king queen.
The Q♦7♣J♦ flop teased Naim giving him middle pair, but the small blind hit top pair.
The 6♦ and 8♠ completed the board and Naim was sent home with a minimum cash after just making the money.
