Both were holding pocket pairs, with Wilkinson needed to improve to stay in the game.

As the 6♠J♦K♥ flop was placed, Wilkinson got up from the table and grabbed his bag, predicting his fate.

The 2♥ 5♥ runout didn't help him, and he was eliminated in 17th place.

The board read 9♦8♥9♣Q♦ on the turn. Taylor Black fired 800,000 from early position. David Brehme called in the big blind.

The river was the 4♦. Black juiced it up with a bet of 2,800,000. Brehme called fairly swiftly.

Black tabled the J♥9♥ for trip nines, but Brehme had that beat with the A♦6♦ nut flush to win the significant pot.

Aristeidis Moschonas opened 1,600,000 under the gun leaving 375,000 behind and Luis Dorneles called from a couple of spots to his left.

When the 8♣7♥3♣ flop hit the felt, Moschonas checked and Dorneles slid a stack of blues across the line. Moschonas called off the rest of his chips and both hands were tabled.

The 8♦ turn was checked through, and when the 5♥ fell on the river, Richez dropped 600,000 across the line. Chen tank-called to see the A♠8♠ of Richez before mucking his hand.
