Two Pots Go to Heidemann For a Significant Chip Lead
Carsten Heidemann raised to 15,000,000 from the button and Ramana Epparla called.
The flop came 3♦5♣4♦ and Epparla checked in flow. Heidemann quickly bet 15,000,000 and Epparla called.
The turn was the 3♣. Epparla checked again and Heidemann quickly continued for 35,000,000. Epparla again called.
On the river 4♦, both players checked. Epparla had to show first and said he had nine high. Heidemann turned over Q♦8♥ for the queen kicker to the board two pair, and it was good enough to take down a big pot, taking the chip lead with 235,000,000 to 140,000,000 chips.
A couple of hands later, Heidemann raised again from the button, this time to 11,000,000, and Epparla called.
They saw another low flop, 2♣3♦6♠. Epparla checked and Heidemann again kept his foot on the gas, betting 12,000,000. Epparla called.
On the 6♣ turn Heidemann got another check from Epparla and bet 20,000,000. Epparla called.
The river 5♥, there was some confusion, as neither the dealer or Heidemann saw a check by Epparla. After a few minutes, the dealer checked with Epparla and he said action was on Heidemann as he had checked. Heinemann checked behind.
Epparla announced king high and Heidemann turned up Q♠Q♣ to take down another pot and extend his chip lead.
