Trexler Sends Raymer to the Rail

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action folded around the table to Micah Trexler, who was on the button. Trexler raised to 130,000, and the player in the small blind folded.

WSOP bracelet winner and 2004 Main Event champion Greg Raymer was in the big blind and moved all in for his remaining chip stack, which was approximately a little more than 700,000.

Trexler, who had Raymer covered, took a moment to think over the situation before calling to put Raymer at risk.

The dealer fanned 32J on the board, keeping Trexler’s ace in the lead. Raymer, through, picked up a flush draw.

The 3 on the turn and 5 on the river, though, didn’t help Raymer, who was eliminated.

Raymer graciously asked Trexler his name, and then autographed a fossil before handing it to Trexler. The two exchanged fist bumps just before Raymer quietly stood and exited the table.

Trexler showed the autographed fossil to the rest of the players at his table.

“It’s a cool keepsake,” Trexler said with a smile.
