Cernuto Survives

Level 28

Omaha Hi-Lo

John Cernuto raised from the button and was all in. John Racener made the call from the small blind and Garth Yettick called from the big blind.

Racener and Yettick checked the flop, turn and river on a final runout of A4J72. Yettick had Q10105 for a pair of tens. Racener had aces up and a seven-low with AJ75 while Cernuto had a better seven-low with 9973 to take half the pot.

Omaha Hi-Lo

Two hands later Cernuto raised from under the gun and was all in. Racener called from the cutoff, Yettick called from the button and Josh Arieh called from the big blind.

The three players who were not all in checked the flop and turn leading to a final runout of Q3784. Action checked around to Yettick who bet and got folds out of Racener and Arieh.

Yettick had 8542 for a seven-low with two pair but Cernuto had AK87 for a better two pair to get half the pot and extend his tournament life.
