Hagen the Hero

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The action was picked up on this huge hand as Augusto Hagen and Fernando Favadniak Souza were on the river with a board that read 736810 with close to 1,600,000 in the middle.

Augusto Hagen had checked to Souza, who then moved all in to cover, and Hagen faced a tough decision. After over a minute of intense thought, he slid out a stack to call for his tournament life and was instantly rewarded as Souza let out a deep sigh and flipped over KQ for just king-high!

"Yes!" Hagen shouted as he emphatically tabled A6 for just a pair of sixes to take down the massive pot for the double.

The cutoff moved all in for approximately 125,000, Nick Kocman moved all in from the button, and the hand went to a showdown.

Cutoff: A8 All in
