"Wrecking Ball" Davis Fills Up in a Monster Pot to Bust Sanchez

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Kevin Davis
Kevin Davis

Three players saw a flop of 952 where Brian Rast bet 850,000 from early position. Kevin Davis then raised to 1,800,000 in middle position.

Action then went on Francisco Sanchez in the big blind who moved all in for 7,000,000. Rast asked for a count of both opponents' stacks as he went into the tank for several minutes.

He eventually folded, but Davis snap-called to create a massive pot with more than 15,000,000 at stake.

Francisco Sanchez: AJ All in
Kevin Davis: 22

Rast said he folded two jacks as Sanchez showed down the nut flush draw, while Davis had a set of deuces. The turn was the 5 and Davis improved to a full house to leave Sanchez drawing dead.

Sanchez cruelly saw the 8 fall on the river that completed his no-good flush and laughed it off as he filmed the action before heading for the rail.

"You're a wrecking ball, man," Rast told Davis, who moved up to 26,000,000 and into the tournament chip lead.

Adrian Garcia Galipienso

Malcolm Franchi opened to 300,000 from under the gun and Adrian Garcia called in the next seat as Gaston Martinez called in the big blind with a short stack.

Martinez led out for 225,000 on the flop of 635 and Franchi raised to 450,000. Garcia then three-bet to 2,300,000 and Martinez went deep in the tank before folding. Franchi then folded JJ face-up.

"I know you flatted aces because of the short stack in the big blind," Franchi told his opponent, who did not reveal his hand.

Martinez busted soon after when the final nine tables were set.

The Rail Explodes as Moroz Takes Out Kim

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Four players saw a flop of Q2A where Kenneth Kim bet 375,000 in the hijack. Yegor Moroz then raised to 850,000 in the cutoff.

Malcolm Franchi and Brian Hawkins folded as action went back to Kim who called. The turn was the 2 and Moroz bet 2,075,000.

Kim then moved all in for 6,050,000 and Moroz tanked for a minute before calling. Kim showed KQ for two pair, while Moroz had AQ for aces and queens.

"He's dead," Moroz's passionate rail yelled out when the cards were revealed. The river was the 3 and they erupted in celebration as Moroz raised his arms into the air, then ran over and embraced his supporters as the massive pot was pushed his way.

"Your rail is very subtle," tablemate Charles Russell told him when Moroz sat back down.

Adrian Garcia Galipienso

Charles Russell opened from early position and Adrian Garcia called on the button.

Russell continued for 500,000 on the flop of 1085 and Garcia called. Russell sized up to 1,200,000 on the K turn and Garcia again called.

The 8 river completed the board and Russell counted out a bet of 5,500,000 to put Garcia all in for around the same amount. Garcia quickly called.

Russell showed A10 for tens and eights, which was good to beat the 77 of Garcia as he hit the rail.

Nazar Buhaiov

Nazar Buhaiov moved all in for 950,000 in middle position as his supporters on the rail began howling. Stephen Song called in the hijack, while the rest of the table got out of the way.

"Deuces never lose," Buhaiov's rail shouted when the cards were revealed. The 1084 flop kept him in the lead, while the turn was the J. The river, though, was the Q and Song made a straight to win the pot and send Buhaiov to the exit.

"Sorry, guys," Song said to Buhaiov's rail.

Luis Vazquez

Heads-up on a board of J10J7 with several hundred thousand already in the middle, Sami Bechahed checked from the big blind to Luis Vazquez, who bet 250,000. Bechahed check-raised to 625,000 and Vazquez called.

The Q completed the board and Bechahed fired 2,600,000 into the middle. Vazquez didn't take long to shove for 4,825,000 total and Bechahed called.

Vazquez turned over 98 for a straight flush, and a flabbergasted Bechahed showed he held J7 for jacks-full of sevens.

"Let me get a picture of this," Bechahed requested before the dealer scooped up all the cards.

Rast Doubles After Porto's Light Call

Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Brian Rast
Brian Rast

Brian Rast opened the button to 300,000 and Bruno Porto called from the big blind.

They both saw a flop of K6Q which Porto checked, Rast bet 275,000, and Porto check-raised to 725,000. Rast had another bet up his sleeve as he min-raised to 1,175,000, which Porto eventually called.

A 3 fell on the turn and after Porto checked, Rast gathered the remainder of his chips into a single stack and put it into the pot. The bet was 1,650,000 and Porto appeared to have just over that in his stack. It took around six minutes before Porto finally made up his mind and decided to call.

Brian Rast: K9 All in
Bruno Porto: 76

Porto needed some help on the river but the 5 wasn't what he was looking for, which meant Rast doubled up. Brazil's Porto thought he was eliminated but once the stacks were counted down, he learned that he had around 450,000 chips remaining.

Russell Rosenblum

Arthur Morris raised to 300,000 under the gun before Russell Rosenblum reraised to 3,700,000 in the cutoff, leaving 125,000 behind. "I'm going to jam, I'm just doing this for you to make the pay jump," Morris said.

He eventually moved all in and Rosenblum tanked for several minutes as he waited for someone to bust on another table. He finally heard the shout of "payout" and committed his last chips.

Russell Rosenblum: AQ All in
Arthur Morris: AK

Rosenblum was dominated by Morris until the flop brought Q86, giving him the lead with a pair of queens. The rest of the board ran out 67 and Rosenblum doubled up, leaving Morris on a short stack.
