Luigi Shehadeh opened the action with a raise to 12,00 from middle position. Amir Minagar moved all in on the button for 52,000 and Shehadeh made the call.
Amir Minagar: 7♥7♦
Luigi Shehadeh: K♦10♠
A fair fight, the board came down 2♣4♣8♠A♦J♥ and Minagar found a crucial double up to stay alive.
There were around 80,000 chips in the pot on a board of 7♦2♥9♠5♥ when the big blind led out for 17,000, and Bryan Allen called.
On the J♣ river, the big blind checked, and Allen shoved. The big blind had around 150,000 chips behind but elected to preserve them and folded, which meant Allen was awarded the pot.
Diogo Coelho had a very active few hands as he played five hands in a row. The first of which he bet 43,000 into a 47,000 chip pot on the turn when the board read 2♥5♠J♦10♠ which got a fold from his opponent.
In the last hand of the series he was facing a 50,000 river bet from his opponent on a board showing Q♠10♦J♥J♦4♠. Coelho took several moments before making the call.
His opponent tabled the Qx9x which Coelho had beat with KxJx for trip jacks.
Daniel Negreanu raised to 12,000 from middle position and Allen Altamirano called on the button.
The 8♣7♦K♠ flop checked through to the K♣ turn. Negreanu checked again and Altamirano bet out 16,000. Negreanu check-raised to 56,000 and Altamirano called.
The K♥ river slowed down Negreanu with a check. Altamirano thought for some time before chopping out a bet out 100,000 and Negreanu snap-folded.
A player in middle position shoved for approximately 120,000 and action folded to Stoyan Obreshkov on the button, who tanked for some time but eventually decided to put in a call to put his opponent at risk. Everyone else folded and hands were revealed.
Middle position: QxQx
Stoyan Obreshkov: AxQx
The A♣ came right in the window followed by the 9♠8♠ to vault Obreshkov into an almost insurmountable lead with his pair of aces.
The 2♦ turn and 3♠ river changed nothing and Obreshkov collected the rest of his opponent's chips.
In this chaotic three-way all in, Eduard Burd started pre-flop aggression moving all in from middle position for 80,000. Nathan Rosinger reraised all in for 113,00 from the hijack before Randall Nichols shoved his 203,000-chip stack into the middle from the cutoff. The button and blinds got out of the way as players got out of their seats, to see five community cards.
Eduard Burd: J♥J♠
Nathan Rosinger: 8♣8♥
Randall Nichols: Q♣Q♥
Nichols had a chance to score the double knockout before the flop 10♦2♣8♠ rolled off and Rosinger jumped into the lead. The 9♦ turn hit the felt and Burd and Nichols both picked up straight draws. The dealer put out the 7♥ river and Burd clapped as he sucked out to triple up and extend his tournament life. Rosinger won a small side pot off Nichols with his set of eights.
A player opened in middle position and was called by Francisco Perez Moreno in the cutoff as well as a player in the big blind.
The big blind checked following the 6♥K♦A♣ flop and the middle position player continued. Perez made the call while the big blind folded to send action heads-up to the turn.
The turn came 9♥, prompting the middle position player to slow down, checking to Perez, who bet 45,000 into a pot of roughly 75,000. His opponent took another look at his cards, then mucked to send even more chips over to Perez as he nears the two million mark.
