Ham Saved By the River

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was picked up on the flop with the board showing 36J and Dan Ham was all in for 45,800 with Eric Welch putting him at risk.

Dan Ham: AA All in
Eric Welch: JJ

Ham was on the brink of elimination with his pocket aces after Welch flopped a set of jacks. The turn was no help to Ham when the 8 hit the felt. But Ham's tournament life was saved when the A came on the river to give him top set and double up against Welch's set of jacks.

Livschitz Continues to Climb

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With three players seeing a board of Q646 and about 5,000 in the middle Victoria Livschitz bet 2,200 and was called by an opponent who was in position.

Livschitz bet again for 9,000 on the 4 river and this time it was enough to get a fold from her opponent.

Haas Picks Up Kings to Double

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

David Haas three-bet to 3,000 in the hijack before an opponent in the cutoff four-bet to 10,000. Haas then moved all in for 33,000 and his opponent snap-called.

David Haas: KK All in
Opponent: AK

Haas was ahead with his kings and needed to dodge an ace to keep his Main Event hopes alive. The 444 flop was safe, while the rest of the board ran out Q6 to secure Haas a double up.

"I haven't seen a hand like that all day. When you snap-called, I felt for sure you had aces," Haas said as he took in the pot.

WSOP Circuit Ring
WSOP Circuit Ring

The initial schedule — US and international — is out for the 2024-2025 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) season, and it should create some excitement within the poker community.

Action for the 20th Circuit season kicks off at a familiar spot — Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma — on July 17, the same day as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event concludes. There will also be a return to the same casino in October.

There are 18 stops — 13 in the US and five in other countries — on the 2024 portion of the WSOPC schedule. That includes five different countries and eight US states.
