Bailleul Dodges the River to Double

Four-handed on a flop of 4♥9♦10♦, Romain Bailleul bet 2,000 from middle position and Daniel Samson called in the cutoff, as did an opponent in the big blind.

The turn was the 3♠ and Bailleul bet 5,000. Samson then raised to 20,000 and the big blind folded, while Bailleul snap-called for his last 19,700.

He showed A♦10♠ for top pair, while Samson had 5♦2♦ for straight and flush draws. Samson missed all his draws on the Q♣ river and Bailleul held on to double up.

Benyacov's Value Bet Gets Called By Lockhart

Amit Benyacov raised from early position to 1,000 and was only called by Jason Lockhart in the seat to his left.

Benyacov bet 1,500 on the 4♣9♥6♠ flop. Lockhart called and they headed to the turn.

The A♦ on the turn got checked through for the K♣ to appear on the river. Benyacov bet 3,500 and Lockhart quickly called. Benyacov turned over A♥10♠ and took down the pot with a pair of aces.

On a nearby table, Josh Arieh was seen leaving the tournament area and has busted the WSOP Main Event.

Mather Gets Aces... Again

Bob Mather raised to 800 from the cutoff and the button and both blinds came along.

The flop rolled out Q♣8♣6♣ and action checked over to Mather who bet 1,500 which only the button called.

On the turn K♦ Mather bet 2,000 and was called again with action checking through on the river Q♦.

Mather turned over A♣A♦ for aces up which was good for the pot as a tablemate commented "that's the third time you've had aces today."

"And I'm below starting stack," responded Mather "what does that say about me?"

Mattingly Siegel in the big blind checked to his opponent in middle position, who bet 2,200. Siegel made the call to see the turn.

Siegel then check-called a bet of 5,400 after the 4♠ on the turn.

The river was the 7♣ and Siegel led out for a bet of 5,000 that was snap called by his opponent.

Siegel tabled A♠A♣ for pocket aces. His opponent showed A♥K♥ before mucking his hand.

Yukari Shimodan opened to 1,000 on the button and was called by Michel Leibgorin in the small blind.

Leibgorin checked following the 3♣K♣K♥ flop, then called a 700 continuation from Shimodan.

Action checked through the 9♣ turn to the 5♥ river at which point Leibgorin bet out 3,000. Shimodan responded with a raise to 10,000 which Leibgorin quickly called before mucking after Shimodan tabled 5♠5♦ for the rivered full house.
