Konopelko Takes One on the River, Then Spikes a Boat

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Andrei Konopelko
Andrei Konopelko

Andrei Konopelko bet 1,600 from under the gun on a flop of 1093 and Skyler Roberts called in early position. Brandy Savage then raised to 3,500 in the small blind and both opponents called.

All three players checked the 4 turn before Konopelko bet 6,500 on the 7 river. Roberts quickly folded, but Savage gave it some thought before also folding after around a minute.

"I would've called in your spot, but not with you behind me," Roberts told Savage.

The next hand, Roberts raised to 600 under the gun before Jeffrey Muncy three-bet to 2,600 in early position. Erick Lindgren called in middle position, as did Konopelko in the big blind and Roberts.

The flop came 445 and Muncy bet 3,500. Lindgren and Konopelko both called. The 8 turn was checked through and Konopelko bet 12,500 on the 5 river.

Muncy called and Lindgren folded, claiming he had two jacks. Konopelko showed 88 for a full house and Muncy tossed QQ into the muck.

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Picking up the action partway through the hand, James Dike in the small blind got his remaining 4,500 in the middle against Stuart Rutter in late position.

James Dike: A9 All in
Stuart Rutter: A10

Dike was in rough shape and looked to be heading to the exits after the flop came J6J followed by the 3 turn. The 9 river was just what the doctor ordered for Dike, however, as he paired up his kicker to score a small double.
