Marco Zevola raised to 450,000 from under the gun, and left just 50,000 chips behind in his stack. Santiago Trujillo then three-bet to 850,000, and Adrian Garcia shoved for over 8,000,000 from the blinds. Zevola put in his last 50,000, and Trujillo went deep into the tank before eventually folding.

Zevola was a huge underdog but flopped a set on the 10♠5♥J♥4♠2♠ board which kept his Main Event dream alive as Day 5 edges to its culmination. Garica on the other hand, didn't lose too many chips as he took the small side pot of 350,000 which kept his stack above the eight-million mark.
