The at-risk player showed top pair, but Maiden has flopped a straight and was a big favorite to score the knockout. The rest of the board came Q♣9♦ and Maiden took the pot to send his opponent to the rail.
Miles Barnum also recently busted. "I shoved for three bigs with ace-ten and the guys calls blind. He has ace-jack," Barum said.
"I was never above 100,000 all day. That's printing money. That's like a final table jump," Barnum added after securing a pay jump.
