Simpson Makes the Right Call
Level 4
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Three ways on a 6♠Q♦10♣ flop, Conrad Simpson checked in middle position, the player in the hijack checked, and the player on the button checked.
Action checked to the button on the 6♦ turn and he bet 700. Both Simpson and the hijack called.
The K♦ completed the board and Simpson led out for 8,500. The player in the hijack raised to 29,000, which got a quick fold from the button to put the action back on Simpson, who went deep into the tank.
"You either have quads or tens-full?" Simpson mused as he contemplated his decision.
Simpson eventually put in a single chip to indicate a call and his opponent said, "Good call," prompting Simpson to reveal A♦9♦ for the nut flush.
His opponent mucked and Simpson collected the large pot.
