Sternheimer Makes a Flush

Five players limped in to see the K♥Q♥7♥ flop, and the action quickly checked around to see the 9♥ on the turn.

Rostyslav Sabishchenko checked to Philip Sternheimer who fired 6,000, forcing Nacho Barbero, the button and Sabishchenko to fold while the cutoff made the call.

When the 9♠ landed on the river, Sternheimer fired another bet of 8,000 into the middle. The cutoff tanked for about two minutes before deciding on a call.

"How high is your flush?" asked Sternheimer. "I have a flush."

Sternheimer's opponent was silent, and Sternheimer tossed his A♠9♣8♥6♥ face up to earn the pot.

The small blind checked on the flop of 10♥3♥K♦ and Chidwick checked back. The small blind then bet 25,000 on the 7♦ turn and Chidwick called.

The small blind checked on the Q♥ and Chidwick put his opponent to the test by moving all in. The small blind quickly folded.

The flop came out 2♠9♦4♠ and the small blind checked to Liu who continued betting 13,000. The small blind called.

Both players checked the turn 8♠.

The river fell Q♠ and the small blind bet 16,000. Liu called and his opponent showed K♥K♣8♣2♣ for one pair.

Liu showed A♦10♦9♥8♥ for two pair and claimed the pot.
