Moreschi Finds New Life Despite the Free-Roll

Level 14

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Shortly before the hand, Stephen Moreschi told PokerNews, "I won my football bet so I'm already free-rolling."

Travis Pearson opened the hijack to 7,000, and he received calls from Stephen Moreschi in the small blind and Ray Fishman in the big blind.

Moreschi drew two, Fishman drew three, and Pearson drew two. When checked to, Pearson bet 15,000 and only Moreschi called.

On the second draw, Moreschi took one and Pearson took two. Moreschi led all-in for 16,000 and Pearson called.

Moreschi was left with a tough decision but ultimately decided to break his queen. Pearson smiled as he drew two behind.

Travis Pearson: 6x4x2x

Moreschi peeled an 8x while Pearson was drawing dead after he revealed an Ax.

"I think this is the most chips I've had all tournament," remarked Moreschi.
