Minko On a Heater, Cracks Dan's Aces
Level 24
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Jeremy Dan opened the hijack to 100,000 and Vladimir Minko three-bet to 275,000. Once the blinds folded, Dan shoved for around 1,500,000, and Minko snap-called.
Jeremy Dan: A♠A♦
Vladimir Minko: Q♣Q♦
After just losing a chunk of chips, this was a great opportunity for Dan to double up but there was still a runout to sweat.
The dealer put out a flop of Q♠8♠8♥ which improved Minko to a set, much to the disbelief of Dan.
"Good game," muttered Dan as he tapped the table.
Dan clearly wasn't confident he could hit an ace and was eliminated as neither the 6♦ turn nor 4♥ river were what he needed.
