Brian Yoon: XxXx/3♠5♥9♠6♣/Xx
William Coren: XxXx/3♦8♣Q♣8♥ - folded on sixth street
"Biggest pot of the tournament so far," tablemate James Cheung said as four players went to fourth street. According to Cheung, it was a four-bet pot on third street.
Brian Yoon then bet and Thomas Argyros raised. Patsy Altomari and William Coren called, while Yoon reraised. All three opponents called.
Argyros bet on fifth, Altomari raised, and everyone called to sixth. Altomari bet again and Yoon and Argyros called, while Coren got out of the way.
Altomari bet on seventh and Argyros called, while Yoon folded. Altomari turned over K♦K♠K♣ for quad kings and Argyros flashed a pair of aces as he mucked.
Esther Taylor: XxXx/9♣K♦5♥7♥/Xx
Owais Ahmed: XxXx/2♥7♣8♣9♠/Xx
Thomas Argyros: XxXx/5♦A♦J♠10♥/Xx
Four-handed on fifth street, Esther Taylor bet and was called by Owais Ahmed and Thomas Argyros. "Stay strong one time, Brian," Taylor said to tablemate Brian Yoon.
"It's your best best. If it was your third-best game, it would be different," Yoon said as he folded leaving the pot three-handed.
Taylor continued betting on sixth as both opponents called. Another bet on seventh was called by Ahmed, while Argyros gave up his hand.
Taylor showed K♣K♠ for trip kings and Ahmed had K♥4♥3♣ for a low to chop the pot.
William Coren shared a touching story of how he came to be in the field today.
"My brother was a very wealthy man. He knew I could play in these 10Ks, he could put me up. He died three years ago, and I found an envelope with $10,000 in it," Coren said.
Coren added he used that money to enter his first event but didn't cash. He then entered a second time and finished in the money before being eliminated early on his third attempt.
"I was like, I was one out of three, I was even. So I wasn't sure I was going to come back. My wife is like, of course you're going to play. It's your brother's legacy," he said.
