Kupin Almost Mucks the Winner

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 15,000 ante

Jason Mercier raised to 20,000 from the hijack, and Aaron Kupin made the call in the cutoff. When it folded to Billy Baxter in the small blind, he three-bet to 70,000. Mercier folded, while Kupin made the call.

Baxter stood pat while Kupin drew one.

Both players checked after the draw and Baxter showed 10x8x5x4x3x. Kupin nodded his head letting Baxter know he was good, before rechecking his cards and realizing he had 10x7x6x4x2x for the best hand.

Kupin was very apologetic about the mistake, and Baxter assured him it was not a problem.
