Jason Mercier Eliminated in 9th Place ($39,882)

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 45,000 ante
Jason Mercier
Jason Mercier

Jason Mercier raised all in for 365,000 from the cutoff and was called by Mike Watson on the button. Both the blinds folded leaving Mercier and Watson heads up.

Both players drew one card.

Jason Mercier: 8x7x6x3x All in
Mike Watson: 6x5x4x2x

Watson flipped over his card first and it was 9x meaning Mercier would need a deuce, a four or five to stay in the tournament. But when he peeled Jx he was not able to beat Watsons nine-six and was eliminated in ninth place.
