Day 2 of Event #71: $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship kicks off today at 12 p.m. PDT at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. From a starting field of 1,245 entrants, only 312 players remain, all striving to reach the money as the bubble approaches, with 187 players set to cash.

The min-cash is $2,006 from a total prize pool of $1,095,600, while the winner will take home $171,732 and a coveted World Series of Poker gold bracelet. Leading the pack is Irene Carey with a massive stack of 413,500 chips, followed by fellow Americans Anastasia Knapp (360,500) and Ismaray Reigosa (317,000).

Blinds will start at 1,000/2,000 with a 2,000 big blind ante, and ten levels will be played today.
