Hecht Stands Pat and Scoops

Level 17

Badacey

Dustin Dirksen opened from the hijack and received calls from Gina Hecht in the cutoff and Ruth Sun in the big blind. All three players drew two.

After the first draw, action checked around to Hecht who bet and was called by both opponents. Once again all three players drew two.

Hecht bet again when checked to after the second draw. Sun raised it to two big bets, forcing a fold from Dirksen, while Hecht made the call. Sun stood pat and Hecht went into the tank.

After about two minutes Hecht opted to stand pat again. Both players then checked with no draws remaining.

Sun tabled KQ632 for king-low and a three-card six. Hecht showed down 9732A for nine-low and a nine-badugi to scoop the pot.
