The turn was the 6♥, Petychakis checked. Gesli bet 2,000,000 and Petychakis called.

The river was the 6♣, Petychakis checked again. Gesli bet 5,000,000 and Petychakis called. Gesli tabled the J♥9♥ which was good to win this nice-sized pot.

The flop got Serrate clapping his hands as it scrolled across Q♥3♥9♠. The turn and river were no help to Strickland when it rolled off the 7♠ and 3♠.

Strickland was grateful the entire way in his deep run but he was left wondering what could have been on his way to the payouts desk.

Hammoud Wants Millions

Rami Hammoud made mention that he was more inclined to defend his big blind because Paul Serrate used one of the new, orange, oversized chips in his raise to 1,600,000.

So the two went heads up to a flop of 6♦2♣2♥. Hammoud check-called the cheeky 1,000,000 bet from Serrate.

The turn peeled the 5♠ and Hammoud took the initiative, betting 2,500,000 and getting a call from Serrate.

The river completed with the 8♠ and Hammoud continued with a bet of 3,000,000. Serrate went into the tank but eventually called and Hammoud tabled K♦8♦ for rivered top pair.

Serrate, who has been very good natured all tournament, let Hammoud know he knew he was bluffing and that he was the wrong guy to bluff.
