Short Stacks Eye Comeback on Final Day of Event #63: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw
An extremely busy day at the 2024 World Series of Poker includes the final six players battling for WSOP glory in Event #63: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw. Action resumes at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas at 1 p.m. local time, where the final six competitors will take their seats to battle for the top prize of $123,314.
Leading the way is Michel Leibgorin, who will carry an impressive 67 big blinds into play under the lights of the final table. The Frenchman will add another significant score to his poker resume, which already includes almost $2,000,000 in live earnings. Leibgorin will be looking to secure his first gold bracelet, something the two shortest stacks on Day 3 know a little about.
Ali Eslami and Owais Ahmed will take their seats sitting fifth and sixth in chips, but both have the experience of earning a WSOP title and will be seeking a second one today.
