Madanzhiev Spikes an Ace to Send Out Pastore
Level 25
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Daniel Gagne opened 100,000 from the cutoff and Stoyan Madanzhiev called on the button before Jonathan Pastore three-bet to 350,000 from the big blind. Gagne mucked and Madanzhiev announced an all-in. Pastore eyed the clock looking to see if it were a pay jump as he let Madanzhiev know he's just going to take a moment. After a few seconds, he called off his stack of about 1,300,000.
Jonathan Pastore: K♠K♥
Stoyan Madanzhiev: A♦5♦
The Q♦8♥2♥ flop looked promising for Pastore as his kings were still in the lead, however, the dreaded A♠ fell on the turn for Madanzhiev to pull ahead. The 7♠ river was no help for Pastore as he headed to the payout desk.
