Bubble Has Burst

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With two eliminations the remaining field would make it into the money. The first hand to occur was a standard flip between an all-in player in middle position and their opponent who called.

Middle Position Player: QQ All in
Opponent: AxK

The board ran out Ax7x6xKx2x for middle position to be sent out just shy of the money.

The second hand occurred when Manelic Minaya raised to 10,000 from middle position. His opponent three bet to 25,000 from the button and Minaya made the call.

When the flop came Ax6x2x, Minaya checked to his opponent. He fired for 15,000 and Minaya made the call.

The turn was the 9x and Minaya again checked. His opponent continued for 25,000 and Minaya jammed all in. His opponent made the call.

Opponent: AxKx All in
Manelic Minaya: 7x8x

The board completed with the 5x for Minaya to send his opponent on the rail for the stone bubble.

O'Donnell Puts Farha to the Test

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Sammy Farha
Sammy Farha

Sammy Farha was in the big blind and led out 15,000 on the flop of 835. Kevin O’Donnell was on the button and called.

The turn was the 3 and Farha bet 25,000. O’Donnell again called.

The river came the 5. Farha checked. O’Donnell reached for a pile of chips for a bet of 80,000. Sammy went into the tank. A few minutes passed and he said one point, more to himself than anyone else, “You bluffin'?” Farha looked somewhat defeated as time went by, but ultimately made the call.

O'Donnell turned over 94 for a busted flush draw and Farha took down a big pot with Q8 for a flopped pair of eights.

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Hollis Barnhart almost didn't show up this morning due to the fact that he only started with 15,500 but now he is thrilled to be here as he has racked up 226,000 in chips and made the money.

He decided to play a hand for PokerNews and raised under the gun to 22,000, everyone folded and Barnhart playfully teased the table and threw over 42.
