Johnson Loses a Big One

After an open to 32,000 by a player in middle position, Aaron Johnson in the cutoff three-bet to 85,000. The button and the blinds folded and the middle-position player called.

Johnson continued for 45,000 on the 3♣10♥10♠ flop then fired a second barrel of 125,000 on the 5♦ turn. The player middle position called both times.

The 2♣ river was checked by both players but Johnson had to send his cards into the muck as he didn't have a better hand than his opponent's 9♦9♣.
