Stellwagon Is Good at Showdown

The small blind raised to 275,000 and Jeffrey Stellwagon made the call from the big blind.

Both players checked the hand through as the full board now read Q3892. The small blind checked once more and Stellwagon took a free showdown.

The small blind tabled AK for ace high, while Stellwagon took down this pot with A3, having flopped a pair of threes.

Lipszyc Takes From Guerrero

Jefferson Guerrero raised from under the gun to 225,000 and was called by a player in the small blind and Daniel Lipszyc in the big blind.

The flop came K88, action checked to Guerrero who bet 170,000. The small blind folded and Lipszyc called.

Both players checked on the 3 turn card.

The river was the 9 Lipszyc checked, and Guerrero decided to bet 455,000. After quite some time Lipszyc found the call.

Guerrero showed QQ which was no good as Lipszyc turned over K3.

Caldas Doubles With Quads

Carlos Caldas three-bet shoved all in for 825,000 over a button raise. Joel Chang moved all in himself for about 1,725,000 out of the big blind, and after the button folded the cards were revealed.

Caldas used his 'one time' as the dealer fanned out the K58 flop, giving him a set. A K came on the turn before the 8 hit the river, upgrading Caldas to quads.

Quang Takes on Two

Larry Quang raised to 215,000 from middle position, the cutoff called and Chong Yu three-bet to 550,000, from the big blind. Both players called.

The 378 flop slowed down Yu, with a check. Quang quickly retook the lead for a sizable 425,000 earning two quick folds.

Chang Busts
