WSOP 2019 Main Event Champion Hossein Ensan Bags Big on Day 1c
The third and final flight of Event #54: $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em is done and dusted here at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Today's attendees took the total number of entrants to an impressive 10,939.
Day 2, which starts on June 24, does so with 2,381 players in the hunt for this event's bracelet. Among those returning players is none other than Hossein Ensan, who bagged up 315,000 chips on Day 1c, ranking him 17th in the flight.

Ensan was already an accomplished poker player before he won the 2019 WSOP Main Event for $10 million. Ensan has two WSOP final table appearances since that remarkable victory, and has done his chances of reaching another no harm in this event.
Plenty of big names joined Ensan in choosing Day 1c to start their quest for Millionaire Maker glory. Among those who made it through to the second day included Jared Jaffee (260,000), Adam Hendrix (229,500), Jeremy Becker (204,500), Joseph Cheong (197,000), Upeshka De Silva (170,000), and Ren Lin (149,500).
Slightly further down the overnight chip counts is where you'll find such players as Ryan Leng (136,000), Ensan's fellow Main Event winner Jamie Gold (134,000), Toby Lewis (74,500), Jerry Wong (61,000), and Yuval Bronshtein (40,500).
Day 2 shuffles up and deals at 11 a.m. local time on Monday, June 24. Blinds will resume with Level 12, 1,000/2,500 with a 2,500 big blind ante. The plan is to play ten 60-minute levels. Players will have 15-minute breaks every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break at the end of Level 17, which will be around 5:30 p.m. local time.
