Day 3 of $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Begins as the Stacked Field Plays Down to Five

The action continues today at the 2024 World Series of Poker in the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Starting at 12 p.m. local time is Day 3 of a star studded field in Event #52: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed.

After registration closed, 817 entries rounded out the field. This generated a prize pool of $3,762,800 and the remaining 37 players have locked up at least $16,257 for their efforts. Sitting atop the prize pool is $656,747 for the eventual winner, plus the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.

Turbo Nguyen of the United States currently tops the counts with 2,700,000 in chips. Close behind is Lucas Blanco with 2,645,000 as both players sit within a comfortable distance above the third place stack.

One of the most successful players from this year's series is the United State’s own David Coleman with 1,045,000 chips. The field remains filled with highly decorated pro players such as Georgios Sotiropoulos (2,190,000), Jake Schwartz (1,690,000), and Dong Chen (660,000).

Day 3 will begin with blinds of 10,000/25,000 and a big blind ante of 25,000. It will take place in the Horseshoe Event Center with the goal for the day being to play until only five players remain.
