Lu Catches the River

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Richard Dixon made it 12,000 and Anton Lu called on the button. Jack Corrigan came along from the small blind, and so did the big blind.

On the K8K flop, the action checked to Dixon who fired 10,000, and only Lu called.

A 9 fell on the turn and Dixon again bet 10,000, which Lu called.

Dixon slowed down with a check on the Q river, and Lu bet 46,000. After some in the tank, Dixon elected to call.

Lu tabled AQ for a rivered pair of queens, and Dixon mucked.

"Nice catch," remarked Dixon as Lu raked in the pot.
