Ruban Doubles Through Yosifov

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Action folded to Erlend Melson in the hijack, who raised to 200,000. Ivan Ruban then three-bet to 1,010,000, leaving 100,000 chips behind. When it got to the small blind Nikolay Yosifov, he four-bet all in. The big blind and Melson folded, and Ruban put in his last 100,000.

Ivan Ruban: AQ All in
Nikolay Yosifov: AK

Ruban was dominated, would need to improve to keep his tournament life alive. The 723 flop was no help, but the Q on the turn flipped the switch, and it was Yosifov looking for one of three outs, with only one card to come. But the river was the 4 to secure Ruban the double up.
