Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 900,000 from under the gun, leaving just 175,000 behind. Chance Kornuth called from the button and small blind Viktor Blom got out of the way. Chris Hunichen found a hand worthy of a call and they went to the flop.

The flop was A62 and Hunichen checked. Ponakovs checked as well, but Kornuth bet 400,000. This was enough to get Hunichen out of the pot who folded his pocket fives, but Ponakovs felt commited and called.
