Baker’s Gamble Pays Off

Level 5

Omaha Hi-Lo

A player raised from under the gun and was called by David "Bakes" Baker in middle position. Naoya Kihara three-bet from the cutoff and action folded back to the original raiser, who called. Baker said, “Let’s gamble!” and made it four bets to go. Both his opponents called.

Action checked through on the 998 flop and 4 turn, but Baker led out for a bet after being checked to a third time on the J river.

Kihara looked him up and Baker turned over A632 for a flush. Kihara sent his hand into the muck and Baker padded his stack.

Eveslage Takes a Hit

Level 5

Limit Hold'em

Chad Eveslage opened on the button and was called by Michael Parizon in the small blind.

Parizon checked to Eveslage on the 3107 flop before calling a continuation.

The 5 turn saw Parizon check again, then put in a raise after Eveslage fired off a second barrel. Eveslage flatted to see a river.

Once the 3 river completed the board Parizon led out only to see Eveslage raise. That did not deter Parizon as he came back over the top, forcing a quick fold from Eveslage.
