Hellmuth Late Registers
Omaha Hi-Lo
After late registering after the level nine break, Phil Hellmuth raised from early position. He was called by a player from middle position, Bruce Walters from the hijack, and the big blind as well.
The flop came 2♥Q♣7♥ and once the big blind checked, Hellmuth made a bet and was called by the player in middle position and Walters. The big blind folded.
On the turn was the J♣ and Hellmuth bet once more, before being raised by the player in middle position. Walters called, before Hellmuth put in a three-bet. Both the player in middle position and Walters called.
The river was the 5♦ and Hellmuth fired another bet and was called by both players.
Hellmuth announced "high only" and tabled A♣Q♥Q♦5♠ for a set of queens. Walters tabled A♦8♠8♥3♠ for the ace-three low. The player in middle position mucked his hand, and Hellmuth and Walters chopped the pot.
