Klein Goes For it All

Level 4 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Morten Klein
Morten Klein

Picking up the action on the flop, Morten Klein in the cutoff was involved in a hand with Santosh Survana in the small blind as well as Jans Arends in the big blind.

With the board reading 946 action checked to Klein. He bet 15,000, receiving a call from Survana. Arends, however, responded with a raise to 55,000. Klein called while Survana folded.

Arends slowed down on the K turn, checking to Klein, who fired off 76,000. After burning a time extension, Arends called.

The K river paired the board and saw Klein move all in after Arends checked to him. Arends was the effective stack with around 140,000 behind and ultimately decided to preserve his remaining chips by conceding the pot to Klein.
