Fashakin Gets His Wish

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Julien Loire moved all in for his remaining stack in early position, and then looked on as WSOP bracelet winner Femi Fashakin, who was to Loire’s immediate left, came over the top with his own all-in bet.

The action folded around the table and the cards were tabled, with Loire at risk.

Julien Loire: AK All in
Femi Fashakin: 99

The dealer fanned 745 on the board, which drew an immediate response from Fashakin.

“Please, no more clubs,” Fashakin pleaded.

He got his request, as the dealer placed 10 on the turn, followed by 9 on the river, giving Fashakin a set of nines and a knockout blow.
