Mayoh Leads; Bach Chasing Fourth Bracelet in Day 2 of $1,500 H.O.R.S.E.
Another day of mixed-game action inside the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas is upon us as Day 2 of Event #35: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. is set to begin at 1 p.m. local time. Of the 835 entrants who joined the fray yesterday, just 210 will return today. They will all be competing for the bracelet and $193,545 first-place prize, which represents the lion’s share of the $1,114,725 prize pool.
Last night, Daniel Mayoh emerged as the leader after bagging up 309,000 in chips. Just behind him is Bryan Jolly with 307,000, and rounding out the top three is none other than mixed-game legend David Bach, who managed to end with 279,000 after a late-night heater on Day 1 sent his chip stack soaring.
Bach already has three World Series of Poker bracelets to his name, including one from a H.O.R.S.E championship event back in 2017. Bach is also fresh off of a fifth-place finish in the $10,000 Dealer’s Choice Championship just over a week ago and is poised to make another deep run.
