Day 1 of Event #32: $1,500 Seven Card Stud of the 2024 World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas has ended after 11 hours of play. Some 107 players were left standing out of a field of 406, which generated a prize pool of $542,000. The 406 entries far out-striped last year's field and is the largest in this event since 2010.

At the end of play, Burke Delange bagged up a tournament-leading stack; he holds a narrow lead over Jeffrey Lo in second place, and Chun Yam in third.

Tony "Ren" Lin, a $25K Fantasy Draft pick, bagged up enough chips for fifth place at the restart. Lin occupies second place on China's all-time money list, with over $11 million in earnings. A bracelet still eludes him, although he has had a brace of runner-up finishes.

Lin's fellow Fantasy Draft players Hal Rotholz, Arthur Morris, and Yingui Li all return in the top 15. Five-time bracelet winner and mixed game specialist Adam Friedman is lurking just inside the top 20.

Scores of other notable players will return to the fray on Day 2, including Ari Engel, Frankie O'Dell, Brandon Shack-Harris, Andre Akkari, David Prociak, Michael Noori, and Richard Ashby. All those players have over 100,000 chips each.

Be sure to check out the overnight chip counts to find your favorite poker star because the field is littered with bracelet winners and $25K Fantasy Draft picks.

The 107 players will return at 1 p.m. local time on June 12, starting at Level 16, meaning 1,000 antes and betting limits of 5,000/10,000. Ten hour-long levels are scheduled, with a break every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 21 (~7:30 p.m. local time)
